General Terms & Conditions:



- Only accounts at level 10 or more for version 6 and more than 500 net worth points and registered at least one week before the tournament for version 5 are eligible to participate; Imperia Online employees are barred from participation.

Structure of the tournament



The Eternal Glory tournament is divided in 8 different stages, and each stage has its specific rules:

1. Alliances - duration: 2 days - players create alliances.
- At the end of that stage all alliances get locked and all members can’t leave their alliance or join another.
- All attacks are forbidden during stage Alliances.
- If there are players without an alliance before the end of the stage, they will be blocked and they won’t be able to continue.
- The leader does not have the right to expel members from the alliance during the last 5 hours of the stage.
- Alliance members will not be allowed to leave their alliance in the last 5 hours of the stage.
- Players without alliance will not be able to join any during the last 5 hours of the stage.

2. Development - duration: 5 or 7 days - the goal of all players in this stage is to accumulate net points and thus increase the net worth of the alliance.
- Attacks between players are allowed, however alliances are not allowed to declare war to one another.
- According to the total count of created alliances in the realm, the stage will last 5 days in case there are at least 64 alliances, or 7 days in case there are less than 64 alliances created. Thereby, top 64 or top 32 alliances (depending on their total count) ranked by net points at the end of the development stage continue to compete in the General rankings and move on to the next stage.
- All alliances who fail to rank in the above mentioned order and respectively don’t move on to the Qualifications stage, continue to participate in the tournament placed at another special ranking list named The Eternal Glory rankings.

3. Qualifications - duration: 2 days or not taken place (depending on the count of created alliances)

General rankings: All 64 alliances who have successfully passed the Development stage get divided into 4 groups as follows:

- Team 1 in the rankings after the Development stage becomes the leader of group one
- Team 2 in the rankings after the Development stage becomes the leader of group two
- Team 3 in the rankings after the Development stage becomes the leader of group three
- Team 4 in the rankings after the Development stage becomes the leader of group four
- Team 5 in the rankings after the Development stage enters group one
- Team 6 in the rankings after the Development stage enters group two
- Team 7 in the rankings after the Development stage enters group three
- Team 8 in the rankings after the Development stage enters group four
And so on to team 64 who enters group four.


- After the distribution of the team each alliance will face another alliance in the group in a system-generated war following the below given order:

- The first in the group against the fifth in the group
- The second in the group against the sixth in the group
- The third in the group against the seventh in the group
And so on to the twelfth in the group against the sixteenth in the group.

- Wars last 2 days and follow the principle of the direct elimination.
- Unqualified alliances discontinue their participation in the General rankings and get transferred to the Eternal Glory rankings where they continue to compete with the rest of the unqualified or deranked alliances for additional special rewards.
- Although Glory points do not matter for the direct elimination where the unqualified alliance get transferred to the Eternal Glory rankings, the qualified alliances will have their Glory points marked and stored throughout the stages in order to dispose of Glory points from their participation in the General rankings in case they get transferred to the Eternal Glory rankings.
- Wars will be automatically declared in the beginning of the stage.
- In case none of the alliances shows activity and does not accumulate war points in the alliance war, the alliance with less net points wins.

The Eternal Glory rankings

All teams who did not qualify for the Qualifications stage or drop out of the General rankings during the tournament will compete in another special group named The Eternal Glory rankings.

- The ranking in this group will be defined by Glory points. The alliances will win Glory points as they fight against one another.
- The scoring becomes effective after the beginning of the Qualifications stage.
- The formula by which Glory points are calculated represents the net points of the fighting alliances’ members and the war points won in the concrete alliance war - the greater the war, the more Glory points will be received by the winner. If the net points of the winning alliance are much higher than the losing alliance’s net points, the Glory points the winner would gain would be less than in the case where it had won against an equal/stronger rival.
- The defeated alliance does not get Glory points.
- If two alliances don’t win even 1 war point during the war, they will not get Glory points.
- Each alliance is allowed to be at war with only one alliance at a time.
- Each alliance is allowed to declare only one war during a stage.
- Therefore, if an alliance gets declared a war, it will not be allowed to declare a war to another alliance.
- Wars can be declared up to 24 hours prior the end of the ongoing stage of the tournament. Wars last not more than 2 days (or 3 days in the final stage).
- If an alliance does not declare/get involved in a war with another alliance during the ongoing stage, it loses the opportunity to gain Glory points for that period.


4. Sixteenth finals - duration: 2 days

General rankings: The 32 alliances who passed successfully the Qualifications stage again face one another in a direct elimination in each group following the below listed principle:

- The first in the group against the fifth in the group
- The second in the group against the sixth in the group
- The third in the group against the seventh in the group
- The fourth in the group against the eighth in the group.

- Wars last 2 days and follow the principle of the direct elimination. Defeated alliances discontinue their participation in the General rankings and get transferred to the Eternal Glory rankings where they continue to compete with the rest of the unqualified or deranked alliances for additional special rewards.
- There will be a pause of six hours after the end of the Sixteenth finals for the alliances to prepare for the next stage. During the pause attacks are forbidden.

The Eternal Glory rankings

- All alliances in the Eternal Glory rankings continue to fight with one another in order to gain Glory points and win special rewards. All rules and restrictions from the previous stage apply.
- There will be a pause of six hours after the end of the Sixteenth finals for the alliances to prepare for the next stage. During the pause attacks are forbidden.


5. Eighth finals - duration: 2 days

General rankings: the winners in the Sixteenth finals will face one another in a direct elimination following the below listed principle:

- The first in the group against the third in the group
- The second in the group against the fourth in the group

- There will be a pause of six hours after the end of the Eighth finals for the alliances to prepare for the next stage. During the pause attacks are forbidden.

The Eternal Glory rankings

- All alliances in the Eternal Glory rankings continue to fight with one another in order to gain Glory points and win special rewards. All rules and restrictions from the previous stage apply.
- There will be a pause of six hours after the end of the Eighth finals for the alliances to prepare for the next stage. During the pause attacks are forbidden.



6. Quarter finals - duration: 2 days

General rankings: all winners in the Eighth finals will face one another in a direct elimination to define the winner in the concrete group.
- There will be a pause of six hours after the end of the Quarter finals for the alliances to prepare for the next stage. During the pause attacks are forbidden.

The Eternal Glory rankings

- All alliances in the Eternal Glory rankings continue to fight with one another in order to gain Glory points and win special rewards. All rules and restrictions from the previous stage apply.
- There will be a pause of six hours after the end of the Quarter finals for the alliances to prepare for the next stage. During the pause attacks are forbidden.

7. Semifinals - duration: 2 days

General rankings: all winners in the Quarter finals (the last alliances in their group) will face one another in a direct elimination as follows: the winner in group 1 against the winner in group 3, and the winner in group 2 against the winner in group 4.
- There will be a pause of six hours after the end of the Semifinals for the alliances to prepare for the next stage. During the pause attacks are forbidden.

The Eternal Glory rankings

- All alliances in the Eternal Glory rankings continue to fight with one another in order to gain Glory points and win special rewards. All rules and restrictions from the previous stage apply.
- There will be a pause of six hours after the end of the Semifinals for the alliances to prepare for the next stage. During the pause attacks are forbidden.

8. Finals - duration: 3 days

General rankings: all winners in the Semifinals face one another to decide the winner in the tournament. Meanwhile all defeated alliances in the Semifinals face one another to decide the winner of the Bronze medal.

Unlike the previous stages, the war lasts 3 days for both encounters.

The Eternal Glory rankings

The alliances in the Eternal Glory rankings carry out their last wars to gain Glory points and compete for special rewards.
All rules and restrictions from the previous stage apply.

Main specifics of the Tournament



In this edition of the tournament, we’re bringing you the new addition to the Imperial ranks – the Heroic Army! Four new types of units, with special skills, will be available for training. To do this, the Higher Military Academy will need to be developed to level 15. The required military technologies are the same as for elite units of the corresponding type.

- Speed of development - х10.
- All players start with their buildings and technologies developed to levels close to receiving a heavy army.
- The global events will be available only in the beginning of the realm and will appear as follows:
The Dark Fortress - on day 3 of the realm
The Skull of Wonders - on day 4 of the realm
The Tower of Knowledge - on day 5 of the realm
The Eternal Castle - on day 6 of the realm
- No Tutorial.
- The army upkeep will vary depending on the percentage it makes up of the user’s net points.
- Espionage will be allowed in each stage of the tournament.
- A fortress, destroyed by a player attack, will give 5 times more military points than before. For example, a destroyed fortress level 1 will give 5 military points instead of 1
- At the beginning of each new stage, all destroyed fortresses will be repaired automatically
- No castles.
- No rally points.
- No vacation mode.
- Account babysitting is allowed within the alliance only.
- No holiday protection.
- No Warrior of the Day medals.
- No Achievements.
- No tournaments.
- No Daily Quests.
- No Capitulation.
- No alliance items.
- No resource camps.
- No Alliance development.
- No Alliance events.
- No medals for Leagues.
- Market prices will be fixed at their base values and will not change throughout the tournament. Only the option to exchange resources (even under attack) will be available. There is a fixed market commission of 15%.
- All players will be able to set governments for their empires, but the following modificators will not be effective: Barbarism – 50% more resources from barbarian chests; Feudalism - Free of charge repair of fortresses in provinces; Monarchy - 3 growth points after an attack on an independent city; Imperialism – 75% cheaper colony foundation; No loss of Happiness due to remote holdings; 10% higher colony efficiency; 100% bigger impact of all special resources except for Yew, Coal, Horseshoe, Granite and Diamonds..
- Maximum number of alliance members - 10.
- Players will join an Alliance with the position of Commander by default.
- Alliances have the right to vote for a new leader if they are not happy with the current one or he/she is not active in the tournament.
- From the Qualifications stage until the end of the tournament there will be no limitation in the attacking range.
- From the Qualifications stage until the end of the tournament players will be allowed to attack other players only on condition that they are in war with their alliance.
- Declaring war between alliances in the Eternal Glory rankings as well as the wars declared by the system in the General rankings will be free of charge.
- Attack that failed to hit their target before the end of a stage, will return automatically
- In the Eternal Glory rankings an alliance are not allowed to declare war to another concrete alliance more than once during the tournament.
- In the Eternal Glory rankings the alliances are not allowed to declare war to alliances whose members have 5 times higher net points.

Rewards:



- The top 4 alliances in the General rankings will receive the greatest rewards in the tournament. The diamond rewards will be distributed as follows: 1st place - 6 000 000 expiring diamonds, 2nd place - 4 000 000 expiring diamonds, 3rd place - 2 500 000 expiring diamonds and 4th place - 1 800 000 expiring diamonds. The reward gets distributed equally among the members of the alliance.
- Alliances ranked between 1st and 4th place in the Eternal Glory rankings will receive a voucher for 1 200 000 expiring diamonds, and ranked ranked between 5th and 16th place in the Eternal Glory rankings will receive a voucher for 700 000 expiring diamonds. The prize will be distributed equally among the members of the alliance.
- Special medals will be for extraordinary achievements during the tournament:

* Lord of War, 1500 points for the Hall of fame - all members of the alliance ranked 1st in the General rankings of the tournament.
* Master of War, 1000 points for the Hall of fame - all members of the alliance ranked 2nd in the General rankings of the tournament.
* Expert of War, 500 points for the Hall of fame - all members of the alliance ranked 3rd in the General rankings of the tournament.
* Adept of War, 200 points for the Hall of fame - all members of the alliances ranked between 4th and 8th place in the General rankings of the tournament.
* Aggressor, 100 points for the Hall of fame - all members of the alliances ranked between 9th and 16th place in the General rankings of the tournament.
* Dominator, 50 points for the Hall of fame - all members of the alliances ranked between 17th and 32nd place in the General rankings of the tournament.
* Battleborn, 25 points for the Hall of fame - all members of the alliances ranked between 1st and 4th place in the General rankings of the tournament, and also all members of the alliances ranked between 1st and 16th place in the Eternal Glory rankings of the tournament.
